A love in verse

Wot a Girl

Performed by
Lydia Wilson

She climbs in the car

Fag in mouth and hair in wind

Fiddles with the door and waves

Having caught my eye.

Returns, complaining “cold”

Black trousers, karate jacket

Finds a scarf and has a word

Goes back to the car

And I think “never say die”

I love her a lot.

Doing Well

When I think of the parts I don’t play.

The minuscule oeuvre of my writing career

I look at you...

Maybe Blue Skies

I miss you love at evening time

On a day of endless rain

Out on your garden I gaze again...
