A love in verse

Tasmania

The days would have been rainier

The dark sky never clear

If you’d gone to Tasmania

And sadly I’d stayed here

In the wrong hemisphere

I might have died quite young one day

Empty, lost and blue

But been reborn far far away

A silly kangaroo

And hopped right up to you

And you’d have looked at me, said “streuth  –

An ugly brute, sport, that’s the truth!”

No Notes

Forgive long days when no notes come

I feel the lack as well as you –

Something creative and honest to do...

All I Have

I don’t deserve fame

Nor the words “Well done”

Deserving only blame...
